DailyCreative is a passion project promoting creative play as an impactful wellness practice with science-backed benefits. Activating creativity increases happiness, promotes innovative thinking, sharpens problem solving skills, and alleviates stress & anxiety.

We believe that everyone is creative and that process is more important than the end result.

Blythe Harris and I (top left) were inspired to start the project in 2020, after experiencing the mental benefits of a virtual art class during the pandemic lock down. We offer inspiration and creative pathways that incorporate quick and easy activations for everyone. We go behind-the-scenes with creatives from around the world to hear how creativity has impacted their lives, learn about their daily creative practices, and explore how they live creatively. We look forward to sharing it all with you!

One of our favorite creative activations:

Three Dot Drawing:

time required: 1+ minute materials needed: paper, sharpie, marker or pencil

Make three dots on a piece of paper and connect them without picking up your pen or pencil and repeat multiple times. Notice how you make changes each time and push against your natural inclinations each time, thinking outside of the box. Compare your first and last drawings. This exercise is meditative, low pressure and great for any age. There are no mistakes and you can experiment with different shapes or all straight or curvy lines to continue to stretch your creative brain.
